About getrallypick
Our mission
getrallypick helps pickleball players in the United States choose the right paddle without the guesswork. The market is crowded and full of recycled marketing — so we cut through it with clear, spec-based, bias-free guidance built around how a paddle actually plays.
How we test
Our recommendations are built on independent, repeatable criteria rather than manufacturer claims:
- Swing weight — how the paddle feels in motion at the net.
- Twist weight — a measure of forgiveness on off-center hits.
- Grit retention — how long the face holds spin after hard play.
- Core type & thickness — foam vs. honeycomb, 14mm vs. 16mm.
- On-court feel — drives, dinks, resets, hand battles.
When we cite a specific paddle, it reflects testing or closely analyzed measured data — not a sponsored placement. No brand pays to appear on a "best" list.
Editorial independence
Affiliate commissions never affect our rankings, ratings, or the output of the paddle matcher. Every paddle is scored by the same method regardless of whether we earn a commission. getrallypick is an independent guide and is not affiliated with USA Pickleball, UPA-A, or any paddle manufacturer.
Who runs this site
getrallypick is run by an independent pickleball enthusiast who got tired of buying the wrong paddle. We research the specs, test what we can get our hands on, and keep the matcher and reviews current so US players can choose with confidence. getrallypick is not a sponsored outlet — just a focused, independent guide built to spare you the trial-and-error we went through.
How we're funded
getrallypick is reader-supported. Some links are affiliate links (Amazon Associates (US) and PickleballCentral), which may earn us a commission on qualifying purchases. This never changes what we recommend. See our full disclosure and privacy policy.
