JOOLA Scorpeus Pro V 16mm — Review
The Scorpeus Pro V 16mm is JOOLA's most forgiving entry in the Pro V line, and it shows from the first rally. The sweet spot is the biggest I've found in the family, so off-center hits stay in play instead of sailing. It is a true all-court paddle that a relative beginner and a tournament player can both enjoy.

What stood out
- Biggest sweet spot. Mishits stayed live, which is rare at this price and shape.
- Balanced feel. It drives, dinks, and drops without a clear weakness.
- Comfortable grip. The handle felt right for long sessions and two-handed backhands.
What to weigh
- Not the fastest. A wider face means slightly less reach than an elongated build.
- Premium price. At $299 it costs more than many paddles that play nearly as balanced.
Who it's for
If you want one paddle that covers the whole court and forgives your rough days, this is a safe pick. Newer players will appreciate the margin, and strong players won't feel held back.
Verdict
Best all-court The most forgiving Pro V, and a genuinely balanced all-court paddle that almost anyone can play.
